Frankfurt-based gaming studio Gunzilla Games has revealed its integration of the GUNZ blockchain into the OpenSea NFT marketplace.

This partnership aims to facilitate the seamless trading of in-game items across various titles built on the GUNZ blockchain.

GUNZ enables AAA game developers to offer players full ownership of in-game assets as tradeable NFTs to empower player-driven economies and enhance the gaming experience.

The announcement follows Gunzilla Games’ recent $30 million funding round.

This integration promises players and users a transparent, compliant platform for trading in-game NFT items with transactions exclusively utilizing the $GUN token. The first title set to debut on GUNZ is the cyberpunk-style battle royale game, Off The Grid.

Vlad Korolov, CEO of Gunzilla Games, stated, “Our vision has always been to empower players with true ownership of their in-game assets, transforming how value is created and exchanged in digital worlds. With OpenSea’s support, we’re one step closer to realizing a unified, player-driven economy across all games developed on the GUNZ blockchain.”

Devin Finzer, CEO of OpenSea, also commented, “GUNZ integration into OpenSea brings the highly anticipated ‘Off the Grid’ into our marketplace and adds an element of ownership console and PC players have yet to experience.”
