Certainly.

PlayDapp is a dApp game portal that provides C2C Marketplace. All PlayDapp games are interoperable thus providing a portfolio of game content that gamers can enjoy with their non-fungible tokens(NFT).

Gamers can also trade their characters and items in the C2C marketplace in addition to increasing the value of the NFT by leveling up, strengthening, and amalgamating them. You can see this in action on our marketplace playdapp.com where PlayDapp Town NFT can be merged to higher rarities and value and used for things such as staking in Along with the Gods! 🔥

And now we’re crating deeper P2E experiences with dedicated staking and PLA (the token of PlayDapp) rewards. 💸 You can see all of this at work in Along with the Gods: Knights of the Dawn, downloadable from Google Play Store.

What is your perspective on the prospect of NFTs integrated platform, and the PlayDapp (PLA) future’s growth?

That’s a really interesting question.

I suppose, I would say, that NFTs represent a real chance to apply incredibly interesting use cases and ownership to existing systems and entertainment. For PlayDapp, we’re providing the building blocks for game developers to move into this new world, NFTs provide a crucial linchpin to this.

With our proofs, a C2C NFT marketplace (playdapp.com) interoperable games, CryptoDozer and DozerBird, and our P2E Game Along with the Gods: Knights of the Dawn and NFT management and staking platform; known as Item Manager, PlayDapp has built an ecosystem that can be implemented by developers with minimal outlay and without the need for blockchain knowledge.

PlayDapp’s growth is looking great , having put in the hard work we are now in a position to realize and apply this knowledge and demonstrated ability to the wider gaming world. Recently big players in the game industry have shown signs of moving into blockchain, it’s all positive.

And with the recent Binance listing, we’re really seeing this work pay off

The Blockchain gaming sphere is small, and while it’s important to be a leader and pull away from others, we feel the greatest opportunities lie in bringing in the existing traditional gamers into the blockchain environment.

We recognize that there are plenty of opportunities to work towards.

We’d point to PlayDapp’s significant experience as one of our competitive advantages.

With our core team of veteran developers and a leadership team who have between 10–20 years of experience each in the PC online & Mobile gaming industry.

There are also founding members of ItemBay in the leadership team. ItemBay is the leader in Korea’s game item trading platform.

Added to this is what we believe to be a fantastic advantage of having respected and globally recognized partners such as Samsung, who have worked closely with us to be one of their leading partners in their moves into blockchain.

How do you realize your mission?

Our mission is to make digital assets more readily available. To this end, the most easy and intuitive approach would be to leverage apps and services the general public uses on a daily basis.

This is also an area where great third-party relationships are of utmost importance. Through partnerships with Samsung Wallet, Kakao Clayton, and Line Link, we believe that it is a very important turning point to meet the blockchain service needs within apps already in use. Familiar apps from trusted partners is a real game changer to the public’s acceptance of new technology.

In that sense, we’re offering services starting with gaming experiences and tying into the marketplace functions in a seamless manner to facilitate user to user digital goods trading.

Not only are we confident that we can run our vision, but so are our partners, such as Samsung and Line.

People often say Blockchain has a scalability problem, what do you do about this?

Ah, scalability, It comes up a lot. 😅

As a base point, PlayDapp aims to be chain agnostic, which gives us flexibility.

We’ve taken a very pragmatic approach to partner and service selection in the past, one that has worked well. Opening opportunities with globally recognized organizations so we’re confident in our decision-making process for crunch issues such as scalability.

Providing cross-game interoperable experience along with the freedom to trade your assets will be a valuable addition which is not available yet in any traditional games. Even crypto games are a sole gaming experience mostly.

Opportunities, such as the developments coming with ETH 2.0 and POS can’t be overlooked. While we may look for solutions across a range of areas a patchwork of great ideas and solutions is developing and can lead to answers for issues common in blockchain.

For game developers, can you list them a few benefits as to why they should make their games into dApps?

The advantage of PlayDapp is the freedom to move assets between games, and PLA that can serve as a public coin to make it easier and more convenient for users to trade freely.

For game developers, this interoperable game environment will be meaningful as a new user acquisition channel. Developers can introduce blockchain services by simply applying the PlayDapp SDK, provide ownership of game assets that users want, and effectively bring PLA and NFT holders into the game.

The ability to transfer some of the value among multiple games will remove a lot of the sunken cost burden prevalent in all traditional gaming experience.

We also see that developers will see benefits to this system by lowering User Acquisition costs as well as profit sharing from supporting NFTs from other developers. Game item trading has always been a large part of any gaming experience. World of Warcraft gold markets for example.

The whole game industry is a 160 Billion USD business and the digital goods market is 1/4 in volume.

Added to this is Developer control on commission. The PlayDapp SDK allows for developers to have control and flexibility with their asset and its commission via 2nd party sales

Compared with the. “traditional” gaming ecosystem, what are the requirements for PlayDapp (or identical NFTs platforms) to provide a same level or even greater gaming experience and security in the gaming assets trading marketplace?

There’s a strong case to be made for smoothing out hurdles that players of blockchain games face. Right now, things like creating a wallet, acquiring tokens can be a hurdle for players.

PlayDapp seeks to manage this by offering choice and adopting smooth practices and software solutions that players are familiar with. PlayDapp also moves to be as flexible as possible, supporting as wide a variety of solutions as possible, provided they fit our strategic needs.

For me, I’d say it’s a tie between our Item Manager system, that lets you convert game items to NFT and NFT to game items. This is part of our SDK, which will be able to be rolled out to developers and partners. You can see it working in Along with the Gods.

Tied is our NFT merge and upgrade feature. Which lets you combine low value, more common PlayDapp Town PLAYZ NFT into higher grade ones with more Utility.

PLA our native token is used as a cross-game token. That allows for purchasing items or NFT. It’s also our reward currency on P2E.

For me, its very tempting to put community first, after all its what I do day in and day out. 😅

But really, strategically we can’t ignore expanding partnerships. As we know — traditional gaming is a multi-billon dollar industry.

There are massive opportunities to grow with strong partners and for others to come into the sphere. Of course, to do this you have to empower those who do come in. So that’s why we’re excited about the tech that we’ve developed.

We have fully released proofs in CryptoDozer & DozerBird which proved our NFT interoperability plans.

And Along with the gods is a fully playable game in the Google Play store. With our P2E mechanics and item management and NFT creation systems being demonstrated.

Gaming is a wide world. One of the core ways that traditional gaming companies can learn from blockchain games in the sense of ownership and fairness.

I’m sure everyone is familiar with traditional game business models.

1) you buy a random box to get some form of item/loot

2) once you get the item or loot, you can use it within the game

3) but at the end of the day, your item is available only within the game and game server.

In essence, you did not pay for anything but just the right to open the random box!!
