You can now earn and harvest $PMLG from our beloved Collector Staking feature on the Polychain Monsters website
Earlier this month we brought to the community our new $PMON-$PMLG Farms, where users could add their $PMON to new pools on our Farming page in order to earn $PMLG rewards and get one step closer to securing themselves a coveted Genesis Island for our upcoming Play-to-Earn game, Polychain Islands.
Now, after releasing the ability to earn $PMLG through both Booster Packs and Farms, the next step on our agenda is to help reward our devout Collector Stakers through their own mechanism to earn weekly $PMLG payouts. Today, we take pleasure in announcing our new Collect to Earn $PMLG program!
Collect to Earn $PMLG rewards are a way to ensure that each facet of the Polychain Monsters ecosystem is incorporated into our reward scheme focused on our loyal community members in regards to our newest features.
Booster openings, Farming and Collector Staking are all important programs to the Polychain Monsters project, and we feel we have a duty to ensure each type of participant who partakes in Polychain Monsters has an opportunity to be rewarded for their support.
Simply by engaging in Collector Staking, your account will now begin to generate $PMLG on top of your normal $PMON rewards. These rewards will be distributed over the next six months linearly, which looks like the following:
- 25% of the total supply of $PMLG (250,000,000 tokens) will be distributed over the next six months
- This equates to a distribution of 10,416,666.66 tokens weekly
- Rewards will all be distributed via BNB Chain, and are harvestable where your Collect to Earn $PMON rewards are located
When determining how to reward our Collector Stakers, a few notable deliveries were prioritized. First, we wanted to make sure that this process created no extra effort from the side of the community. Having rewards generated in the same location where you generate your Collector Staking $PMON accomplishes this elegantly.
Second, we wanted to limit the process in terms of costs, both to our users and to our team. Without needing to build an entirely new portal, we’ve saved development time while still enabling community members to track and withdraw their Collector Staking rewards just as they normally do.
Third, despite being the last feature to release, the short vesting time period (six months) for the release of these $PMLG should ensure a large amount of rewards are distributed over the short term for our stakers. Staking monsters in our ecosystem is integral to the collecting aspect of Polychain Monsters, and we wished to reflect its importance in this reward scheme.
The Polychain Monsters brand is as much the Polymon as it is the community that makes up the fanbase. We strive to ensure our members feel valued and will continue to release benefits to those who actively engage with the project. As we continue to grow and develop, we thank you for all of your continual encouragement and feedback. We will keep looking for ways to reward our collectors for doing what they love — supporting Polychain Monsters.
