Introduction
Crab Network will hold an online hackathon on the DoraHacks platform to fund the development of projects and applications that contribute to the Crab ecosystem and promote overall network growth.

The Crab Hackathon aims to encourage developers to contribute ideas and early-stage projects related to Web3 Tools, DeFi, Metaverse, and NFT to the Crab ecosystem.
The USD 100,000 in the prize pool, will be allocated based on the votes of the judging panel. Meanwhile, if developers combines Crust’s decentralized storage solution, there will be an additional USD 2,000 prize pool, donated by Crust Network.
Crab is looking for projects including but not limited to:
Web3 Tools
Wallets, Multi-sig tools, DAOs, etc.
DeFi
DEX(Decentralized Exchange), Price Oracles, Lending protocols, Stable coin, etc.
Metaverse
Play-to-earn blockchain games, NFT gaming item management tools, etc.
NFT
NFT marketplaces, NFT staking projects, etc.
Participants should follow the instructions below:
- Participants need to build a project on the Crab blockchain and be fully open-source, with repository access provided for judging and testing;
- The idea of the submitted project can be generated and discussed in advance, and the use of external open-source tools is allowed, but the core code and function implementation need to be completed during the hackathon;
- One participant, whether an individual or a team, is legitimate for a single prize;
- All of the projects must be submitted with a demo video and a pitch, which should include a demo of the working application;
- None of the submitted material content should infringe the intellectual property rights of others;
- The submitted code should be complete, readable, and compatible on different devices.
Evaluations
Crab’s technical team, community members, and investment agency will form a judging panel, to make impartial comments on the following dimensions for the projects (for reference only, the judging panel has the final right of interpretation).
- Technicality
- Innovation of the concept
- Ecological contribution
- Market potential
- Code integrity
Voting Mechanism
Judges’ votes will determine the distribution of the prize pool. The whole voting process will be internal and results will be announced within one week after the end of the hackathon (2022/3/2～2022/3/9).

The total prize pool is up to USD 102,000 (USDT/CRAB), including ：
