Premier play-to-earn metaverse gaming platform, Decentral Games, has launched its all-new Sit ‘N’ Go poker tournaments. A fast paced, highly competitive entry-level competition designed for card lovers to get a foothold in the new era of virtual poker.

Now, those looking to get started via both Decentraland or the Flex mobile app, can get involved for a minimal initial outlay, and then begin to rise through the ranks of the glorious ICE poker ecosystem.

Sit ‘N’ Go

The exciting new Sit ‘N’ Go tournaments debuted on Decentral Games ICE poker platform on August 18, taking the shape of a highly competitive, fast paced, six player, single elimination game designed to get the heart pumping.

As a result, players will face a mandatory 10/20 blind, that will increase after every four minutes of game time. An ingenious mechanism designed to speed up the action, with an anticipated game duration of no longer than 45 minutes.

How to Enter

To get going, players must hold a minimum of a ‘Tournament’ wearable, with higher tiered assets such as ‘Flex’ and ‘All Access’ wearables also granting entry. Once in possession, eager gamers must load up their digital clothing with ‘Shine,’ which will then act as a payment mechanism to enter the competition.

Throughout the course of the poker playing calendar, the ICE Poker ecosystem will launch a wide range of tournaments and events, which, in turn, will feature varying amounts of ‘Shine’ in order to compete. So, keep tabs on the Decentral Games socials and website for further details.

What’s at Stake

Those taking part will need to expend their ‘Shine’ to gain entry, and which users can acquire in exchange for ICE tokens. Following the tournament however, the winner will receive an equivalent number of tournament badges, which they can then redeem for wearables and accessories on the Decentral Games platform, as well as exchange for both ICE and xDG tokens. In addition, the player rolling in second will see their Shine ante refunded in full.

“We’ve listened to our community, many of whom became priced out by our regular wearables. We wanted to create a fast-paced ‘entry level’ circuit of tournaments, which is why we developed Sit-n-Go. Thanks to the blinds and the ability to play on mobile, it’s guaranteed to be fast paced and action packed. Players can refine their craft and eventually accumulate enough to obtain the coveted All Access Wearable.” – Matthew Howells-Barby – Decentral Games CMO
