Larger than life piano virtuoso, Elton John, has announced a grand foray into the realm of the non-fungible, blazing a trail with a rock-themed NFT auction, plus a brand-new NFT gated fan club.
The debonair rockstar’s NFT journey begins with the auction of a one-of-a-kind, metaverse-ready virtual hoverboard. A magnificent item direct from the studio of exceptional digital artist, Voxel Bunny, featuring key moments from the flamboyant star’s incredible career. It includes design cues from hit songs Rocket Man and Pinball Wizard, as well as his trademark audacious eyewear.
Keen collectors can bid on the item from now until 6pm ET on June 22 in an auction hosted by the innovative Sweet NFT platform. Following which, the grand item will provide gaming utility courtesy of the talented folk at Jadu. Once the sale has ended, and the dust settled, all proceeds will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
