NFT gaming fans have yet another gem on their hands as Epic Games, the company behind such beloved titles as Fortnite, has added its first-ever NFT game. The game in question is Blankos Block Party, a popular game founded in 2020.

Within the game, players can purchase NFTs to enhance their experience and this has proven to be a hit with its audience. Besides reportedly amassing over a million users since its launch, the game has also onboarded collaborations with stars like popular DJ Deadmau5.

NFT Parties

For now, Blankos Block Party is in its early access stage and will be available fully from September 28, 2022. While it is the first official NFT game to be added to Epic Games’ roster, it will not be the last. This is because Developer Gala Games has also confirmed that its ’Grit’ NFT game will be added at some point in the future.

This is a very significant development seeing as Epic Games is such a leader in its field and while it took a bit longer than others to embrace NFTs, it seems fully onboard now. This development is also interesting given the fact that Fortnite, one of its most notable projects, formally banned NFTs from its servers earlier this year.
