We welcome a brand new addition to our current $PMON farming DeFi options

Today we are expanding on yet another DeFi option within the Polychain Monsters ecosystem — farming $PMON on Polygon.

Prior to the launch of our upcoming Play-to-Earn game, Polychain Islands, Polychain Monsters has been comprised of three main activities — Booster pack openings, Collector Staking and Token Farming pools. Up until earlier this month, our farming pools have consisted of a single $PMON farm, in which users could stake their $PMON in return for, well, more $PMON on Binance Smart Chain (for a deeper look into the mechanics of our $PMON farms, see here).

Then, just a short while ago, we introduced our new $PMON — $PMLG farming pools, where users could stake their $PMON on either Ethereum, BSC or Polygon in exchange for $PMLG rewards. This brought much-needed attention to our farming page, giving users more options in terms of which type of rewards they were interested in acquiring through the act of farming on our app.

Today we expand our farming options yet again through the introduction of farming $PMON on Polygon. Now our fellow holders of $PMON on Polygon’s Matic network will be able to have the option to stake their tokens on a Polygon-specific farming pool, granting them additional utility for their $PMON aside from the singular $PMON — $PMLG Polygon pool itself.

The pool will go live today and can be found on our farming page. The reward distribution for this farm will follow the same token metrics our BSC farm currently employs for its booster openings, including:

• 50% of each $PMON will be burned with each Booster Pack opened
• 25% of each $PMON will be transferred into the Collector Staking Pool
• 15% of each $PMON will be transferred into the Farming Pool
• 10% of each $PMON will be transferred to the fee wallet

The “Polychain” part of Polychain Monsters was designed to emphasize our commitment to supporting multiple features across different blockchains. We hope today’s support for $PMON holders on Polygon has been a welcome addition to the use-cases our users have available to them while supporting our project and token.
