It’s Emperor’s Day in Champions Ascension

Emperor’s Day has arrived in Champions Ascension! And with it comes events throughout the day, tons of prizes, and more! The game is free to play, and you can even build your own Grunt-level Champion through a series of quests!

Today, November 8th, 2023, has officially been proclaimed Emperor’s Day by the Emperor in Champions Ascension. This event includes bonus Chrono XP, twelve hours of scheduled events, several tournaments, and tons of giveaways and prizes!

And for those new to the game, the game includes a series of introductory quests to help you get acquainted with the world and create a basic Champion along the way. Anyone with one or more Champions can make a daily claim of Chrono XP (which will be increased starting on November 9th!), which in turn leads to resource rewards as players reach certain XP milestones.

The tournaments are open to everyone, no entry fee required. However, players must use their own Champions during the tournament. Each tournament will have two brackets, a beginner bracket, and an advanced bracket, which includes those of platinum rank and higher. Everyone who participates in a tournament will receive a lootbox. In addition, the top players for each receive additional prizes including Eternal Champions and stacks of lootboxes! The lootboxes contain various collectible NFTs that will have a future use in-game.

Arena combat is the central entertainment for Champions Ascension though. And the team has been hard at work including allowing players to use their unique Champions in the arena, and constantly tweaking combat mechanics, values, and abilities to balance for all forms of PvP (duel, team fight, and FFA), while also letting players confront and defeat the first world boss, Old Sally!

But the Champions Ascension team has said that there will be plenty of loot and prizes to go around. They’ll have giveaways during their streams, and they also promise a wide range of opportunities for earning during the events, including standout plays, teamwork, sportsmanship, and participation.

What is Champions Ascension?

Champions Ascension is an arena-based, gladiatorial combat game built inside a virtual world. Though the 3D arena combat is the centerpiece of the game, Champions Ascension also features an open world around it. One where players can walk around, interact, and engage in various other activities. The world includes crafting, breeding, land ownership, an in-game marketplace, a staking system, mini-games, and more!

Champions Ascension held an initial sale of Prime Eternals in early 2022. Prime Eternals are generative NFTs with varying attributes that function as in-game characters and as profile picture NFTs. With only 7,622 in existence, Prime Eternals grant many benefits that other characters won’t receive. This includes guaranteed land mints, special breeding options, early access, free mints, airdrops, and more! Nearly as valuable are the Elemental Eternals, which were the second NFT mint for Champions Ascension.

Aside from arena combat, the game also currently offers an open world space and various mini-games such as Drunk Racing, and Dudo, a betting/bluffing game involving dice. Win tickets as you play in the world and use them to purchase special items.
