The mint is now open for the third class of Avatars and Starfighters for Phantom Galaxies! There is no gate or whitelist involved. Just head over to the website and mint as many as you like, though you will need some ASTRAFER tokens to pay for it!

Minting for ‘Third Class’ Avatar and Starfighter NFTs is now open on the Phantom Galaxies website!

There are five mintpasses available — two for Avatars and three for Starfighters. The Avatar mintpass types include Third Class Zveta Gene Sample and Unspecified Origin Gene Sample. The Starfighter mintpass options are Veteran Fleet, Pristine Fleet, and Standard Issue Fleet.

All of these are NFTs, however, the Standard and Unspecified mintpasses will only have common components when generated. The others have a wider range of traits, unique moves or emotes, and also have a chance to randomly upgrade during minting into a Ultra Rare Starfighter or Hero Avatar! Third class Avatars and Starfighters are unique, generative NFTs. Owning one provides access to a private, Third Class Hangar and Third Class Quarters, respectively.

Players can also use Catalysts when minting their Avatars and Starfighters. These Catalysts are consumed during the mint, but can help guide the random traits generation to get the pilot or ship with the traits that you want!

Mints are created on the Polygon network, and require ASTRAFER token. The mint cost for Unspecified Origin Avatars and Standard Issue Fleet Starfighters is 55 ASTRAFER tokens. All other mints cost 200 ASTRAFER.

To learn more about this mint, as well as details about Catalysts and instructions for minting, you can read the official blog post announcement from Phantom Galaxies.

What is Phantom Galaxies?

Phantom Galaxies is story-based, FPS, MMORPG set in a future of space travel and planet colonization. Players follow the storyline quests, fight pirates, and upgrade their character and starships along the way. Phantom Galaxies includes starship piloting and fighting, as well as walkable, 3D space stations where most of the NPC interactions occur.

Players will own their own Starfighters in the form of NFTs. They will also use equipment and fusion NFTs to upgrade their fighters. Phantom Galaxies also includes a bounty system, daily and weekly quests, and a PvP system. The Phantom Galaxies team has plans for many additional features as well. These include arena PvP, PvE raids, and even potential permanent loss of Starfighter NFTs (in certain zones)!
