The latest land sale for My Neighbor Alice went live on December 6th and runs through December 15th. With 100 plots up for auction, players can not only purchase a place of their own for the game release, but land ownership also provides access to the upcoming season 2 alpha playtest!

My Neighbor Alice, a Stardew Valley type of game, has begun a new land sale. Featuring 100 land plots from the Medieval Plains, this sale runs in a series of four waves of auctions. Each wave offers 25 land plots, with a starting price of 100 ALICE tokens.

The auctions run for 24 hours, though they will extend if anyone places a bid in the final 30 minutes. The marketplace only accepts bids in ALICE tokens. If a player is outbid, their tokens are returned to their wallet. The sale is on Binance Chain, so any gas fees will need to be paid in BNB tokens. The My Neighbor Alice marketplace currently only supports Metamask wallets.

It looks like the first wave has sold out with most sales at around 250 ALICE tokens, with a few going for lower prices and some for much higher! Keep an eye open for the next wave of land plots on the official marketplace.

Why Land?

Players can build on and decorate their land plots. This can include plants, homes, crafting stations, statues, fields, and more! Though it won’t be required to play the final release, owning a land will be an important part of the game and a significant status symbol.

Players will also need a land plot if they want to participate in the upcoming alpha season 2. Players can potentially earn and mint game NFTs during the alpha playtest phases! And while farming will be introduced in season 2, you may not see the crops that you’re used to! You may have fruit trees producing bells, pumpkins made of stone, and even plants that produce light!

About My Neighbor Alice

My Neighbor Alice is a multiplayer blockchain-based building and farming game. Players can own and buy virtual islands and meet friends while building and collecting items. The game comprises two worlds – one where players can experience the gameplay, and the other has an ecosystem for players who want to trade and buy NFTs.

Built on the Chromia blockchain, My Neighbor Alicet was founded by Antler Interactive, a Swedish interactive mobile game studio previously known as SVRVIVE Studios. My Neighbor Alice plans to begin their second alpha phase in December of 2022. This second alpha will add farming to the game.

My Neighbor Alice includes a companion mobile app called Alice’s Wardrobe. Players can decorate their avatar in this app and then save their appearance to the blockchain for use in the main game. They also have their own marketplace, with item transactions using the game’s ALICE token.
