Galaxy Fight Club (GFC) is the first cross IP, Play-to-earn, MOBA game on the Ethereum Blockchain. Holders of different NFT collections can now fight and start earning rewards. Galaxy Fight Club’s play-to-earn model opens up various ways for the players to earn, such as renting out fighters, participating in team tournaments and selling keys.

The Play-to-earn and rewards model varies a little bit depending on the type of NFT you hold: a Galaxy Fighter, a character from a partnered collection or the free base character. GFC is also allowing to earn $GCOIN by engaging with them on Twitter. You just need to go to the “Twitter Rewards Claim” section on the official website and connect your wallet. It can be MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, and WalletConnect. Then you have to Login with your Twitter account. After that, it will auto calculate the rewards you are eligible for based on the Hashtags, Likes, and Retweets done by you. And in the find step, you just claim your tokens.

The Galaxy Fight Club (GFC) is a real-time player vs. player (PvP) game that unites all the other NFT collections onto a single platform. Furthermore, it allows you to “log in” and engage in combat with an NFT you have already purchased.

Just like Super Smash Bros, where we have characters from different ‘IP’s coming together, such as a Pikachu fighting Mario. This makes it so delightful and entertaining. Galaxy Fight Club is doing the same thing where you will see a Bull from Bulls on the Block fighting an Ape from BAYC or a Cool Cat fighting with a Cryptopunk.

Galaxy Fight Club’s mission is to be the Nintendo of Web3 by promoting the interoperability of digital assets in the Metaverse. In Nintendo’s case, this will allow players to own their intellectual property (IP) instead of the company. In addition, their goal is to create a cross-IP game platform for the NFT Universe where different IPs from different collections can have a meaningful interaction.

Galaxy Fight Club Free-to-Play and Play-to-Earn Model

Galaxy Fight Club has two gaming models: the Free-to-Play (F2P) and the Play-to-earn (P2E) model. These two models of gaming make it possible for everyone to participate in the game whether they possess an NFT or not.

The Free-to-play model gives room for those that don’t possess any NFTs/avatars. They will be given a default fighter with base stats and a default base tier weapon. If they win multiple matches, they will win Silver Keys. They can sell these Silver Keys directly on the marketplace as independent NFTs for $ETH, or they keep them and open loot boxes with $GCOIN. It gives them loot that could be worth more than the keys.

There are also multiple options for them if they do not possess a personal avatar. Like having a partnered project’s avatar, you can play with it. Also, if they possess a Genesis Galaxy Fighter, they can play with that too.

Galaxy Fight Club Game System

The Play-to-earn model is for those players who own GFC or partner NFT. Holders can log in with their NFT and combat with a different NFT from a different collection.

There are various ways to earn in this type of model. The main one is through accumulating loot box keys by winning games. The keys are of 3 different types: Gold, Silver, and Partner.

Each key has a daily limit. They can combine these keys with $GCOIN to open loot boxes to get different items or sell them on the secondary market as independent NFTs for others who want to open them instead.

Other ways of earning include:

  1. Collecting $GCOIN from Fighters
  2. Win $ETH from Team Tournaments (exclusive to Galaxy Fighters)
  3. Forging weapons and selling them
  4. Training 2nd generation fighters and selling them
  5. Renting out fighters

They can also earn key fragments when they win games. These key fragments can be burned into keys.

It’s also important to note that all players can win loot box keys from the game regardless of what avatar they play with. However, different types of loot box keys can be won depending on your avatar.

NFTs in the game

The GFC Fighter NFTs use the ERC-721 standard, allowing all Fighters to be on 1/1 unique token with a unique combination of traits. The weapons use the ERC-1155 standard. This will allow multiple copies of the same weapons to co-exist and the weapon to be fungible (i.e., to wear out or to be fixed).

Interested players can purchase items from the Galaxy Fight Club collection on OpenSea and LooksRare with a floor price of 0.22 ETH.
