Together, they have built “Metafest 2022,” a massive celebration featuring a digital replica of Times Square, and its infamous dropping ball, allowing fans of the event to experience the occasion from the comfort of their own home.

The four-hour spectacular will begin at 11pm EST, and run through until 3am, and presumably, at midnight on the dot, a spherical object will reach the end of its surprisingly languid journey downward, signalling the masses to simultaneously lose their minds.
A whole host of amazing entertainment is on offer in the shape of live music, immersive games and rooftop lounges, as well as club parties, art galleries and more. And of course, a massive range of attainable collectibles and wearables.
