Over in the ever-entertaining and eclectic nation of Thailand, its tourism NFT initiative has proven so popular it has returned for third season. Through its ‘Amazing Thailand’ collection, the country has challenged visitors to search out its tourist hotspots in return for a non-fungible reward.

Picking up where the previous 2 seasons left off, the 3rd such campaign has returned bigger than bolder than ever before. As a result, it will offer more than double the number of NFTs to adventurers exploring the vibrant country, which in turn, will unlock exciting new benefits and discounts to their holders.

All in all, Amazing Thailand will distribute a mammoth 55k NFTs between July 20 and August 31 at locations throughout the country. These include, 50 Reity Studio artworks located at 40 attractions, 32 airports, 7 bus stations and a railway network. Plus, an additional 5k NFTs distributed through reputable vendors such as hotels, restaurants, wellness retreats, and retail stores.

Amazing Thailand Returns for a Third NFT-Packed Tourist Season

Amazing Thailand NFTs Succeed in a Difficult Market

Originally launching its first season in 2022, and then following it up with season 2 in April 2023, Amazing Thailand NFTs have proven hugely popular with collectors. Part of this success, however, can be attributed to the country’s ongoing support of blockchain technology, and projects built on top of it.

Through its NFTs, Amazing Thailand tasks visitors and domestic tourists alike with discovering locations they may have otherwise missed. Effectively, allowing them to secure the tokens through the YAKS Web3 app, which in turn, will reward finders with discounts on accommodation, travel, car hire, fine dining and more.

So, as the NFT market continues on its unsteady trajectory, maybe there are a few lessons the big hitters can learn from the innovation occurring over in Thailand!
