High-end consumer electronics manufacturer, Bang & Olufsen, has teamed up with NFT marketplace, SuperRare, to launch a Web3 gallery in Soho. The collaboration will see the company’s flagship store transformed into an art gallery for five days, starting April 11 and ending April 15. Audiophiles are invited to be part of this immersive “week of sound and art” experience, where they can expect to see the company’s DNA Collection of digital artwork on display along with that of a select few RarePass artists.

Last November, Bang & Olufsen teamed up with several big names in NFT art to launch its digital collectibles, dubbed the DNA Collection. The drop featured 1925 non-fungible tokens, a number that pays homage to the founding year of the company. According to Bang & Olufsen, the NFTs will spearhead its drive into the Metaverse and provide token-gated access to future exclusive company products and experiences.

What to See at the Bang & Olufsen Web3 Gallery

Attendees of Bang & Olufsen’s Web3 gallery can expect to see works from renowned artists such as Hackatao, Thomas Lin Pedersen, Shavonne Wong, and Richard Nadler. In addition, they will be treated to an immersive audio experience curated by Grammy-winning recording artist RAC and electronic music producers and composers Gramatik and Luxas.

This exclusive Web3 gallery will see Bang & Olufsen honor the promises it made when it introduced the digital collections. On April 12, at 7 p.m., the company plans to host an exclusive event for holders of its NFTs, where attendees will enjoy food, drinks, talks, and a live performance from Luxas. The artist specializes in infusing music and visual art together to create eye-catching modular impressions that are performed and recorded live.

For fans that intend to visit, but don’t own a piece of the DNA Collection, there will be dedicated Web3 staff in the store that will help instruct newcomers in the ways of the blockchain.
