If you had over 200 ingredients at your disposal, what kind of sandwich would you make? This is the question Migwashere, the artist known for his work on BAYC, Hall of Fame Goat Lodge and Sneaky Vampire Syndicate, seeks to answer.
His Wen Sandwich NFT project will allow collectors to mint a sandwich of their choice by adding as many ingredients as possible. Think of meat, salads, sauces, and many other ingredients. According to Migwashere, this is crucial as collectors get to decide on the uniqueness of their sandwich NFTs as opposed to having algorithms or founders decide for them.
Starting February 9, for as little as 0.05 ETH, collectors can mint as many sandwiches as they wish. This is an open-edition collection that will run until February 15. However, once the food truck closes, this fun opportunity to play around with food will be gone forever. Only those who have minted within the timeframe will be able to design their own deliciously personalized sandwich-themed NFTs.
How to Mint Wen Sandwich
To get minting, visit the official Wen Sandwich website, click on “mint now,” and proceed to connect up a wallet. After which, the chef will guide collectors on the process of how to create a sandwich. On completion of the delicious sandwich or sandwiches, users must then ‘check out’ to initiate a transaction and record it on the blockchain. In addition, users must make sure they have enough ETH in the wallet to cover the costs plus gas fees. Then, if all is well, they will receive an amazing new sandwich in their wallet.
Given the prevalence of scams that try to leech on any good project that comes up, collectors must remain vigilant. The project will only communicate through its official Twitter account or website, and will never send direct messages (DMs) shilling early mints, whitelisting, and so on. Additionally, the website will never ask for a seed phrase, and a link to the official OpenSea collection can be found on the website and official Twitter account.
That said, Wen Sandwich is a “fun little pixel project made with love and food for the soul.” It’s the first solo work of Migwashere, who has contributed to popular NFT projects such as Bored Ape Yacht Club, Hall of Fame Goat Lodge, and Sneaky Vampire Syndicate.
