Voxel-based parallel civilization, The Sandbox, has partnered with Cube Entertainment to bring a touch of K-Culture themed revelry to the metaverse. Through this collaboration, they will build out an entire Korean themed district in the virtual world.

Going forward, Cube Entertainment will develop huge swathes of Sandbox real-estate into a vast Korean metropolis by partnering with a wide range of Korean businesses and brands. Consequently, fans can expect to see a host of K-Culture themed experiences in the metaverse.

To many, Korean Culture manifests in the medium of K-Pop and its many globally successful stars. However, Cube intends to change this perspective by introducing additional aspects of Korean life to The Sandbox. As such, explorers of the metaverse will have the opportunity to navigate a whole virtual world of architecture, entertainment and traditional experiences through the blockchain medium.

The move follows the creation of a joint venture between The Sandbox parent Animoca Brands and Cube Entertainment. Dubbed, “Anicube,” this represents a detailed strategy to celebrate all things Korean in the Web3 environment. As a result, fans can expect a signature land sale to follow suit with a number of NFTs in tow.
