Exercise Comes to The Sandbox Via the OliveX Fitness Metaverse

Health and fitness is coming to The Sandbox through the introduction of the OliveX Fitness Metaverse. With its goal to bring real-world health and fitness brands into the Web3, the partnership will see the launch of an interoperable fitness ecosystem where IP from the likes of Dustland Runner and Rider will be integrated into the virtual fitness ecosystem, where fitness enthusiasts will be able to enjoy an array of virtual and real-word utilities.

A collection dubbed ‘Gym Aesthetics’ will be the first NFT project to grace the Fitness Metaverse. It will include a line of playable and utility-based NFTs based on Gym Aesthetics’ apparel lines, as well as its brand ambassadors, such as Alain Ngalani, the four-time Muay Thai World Champion. Not only will these NFTs offer utility within the Fitness Metaverse Land of The Sandbox, but they will also be interoperable with other apps within the OliveX ecosystem, where further perks can be experienced. 

The OG Presale for the collection commences on June 20, with the Whitelist Presale to take place on June 21, the Public Sale on June 22, and the all-important reveal date on June 24. Each NFT will cost the equivalent of $150 in $DOSE.

Once established, the Fitness Metaverse will enable Dustland Runner and Dustland Rider users to utilise their earned $DOSE to purchase NFT avatars and apparel from the Gym Aesthetics collection, whilst also allowing them to experience an array of other utility-packed events, technical upgrades, and the ability to flex some of the rarest items available in the Fitness Metaverse.

Irrespective of the immersive nature of the metaverse, the most important utility in life, our health, is still determined in the physical realm, which is why alongside its NFT endeavours, the core principle of the OliveX Fitness Metaverse is to expose as many people as possible to health, fitness and wellbeing, and encourage more people to get physically active.
