One-time NFT naysayer, and all time Hollywood action hero, Keanu Reeves, has backtracked on his earlier non-fungible comments. Now, emerging as an ambassador for emerging artists as they learn to tackle the blockchain.

Last December, everyone’s favourite Ted caused a commotion in the social media landscape as he openly mocked NFT technology. During which, the Johnny Mnemonic star derided NFTs due to their apparent ease of reproduction. However, having corrected his knowledge on the subject, Mr. Reeves will now consume his humble pie in his trademark understated manner.

Through his latest endorsement, Mr. Reeves will act as an advisor for the ‘Futureverse Foundation’. A charitable endeavour straight out of the ‘Non-Fungible Labs’ umbrella of projects, and sitting directly beneath metaverse avatar collection, FLUF World. Essentially, pledging to improve the exposure of under-represented artists across the globe by facilitating a presence in both the digital and physical worlds.

Going forward, the Futureverse Foundation will identify worthy talents throughout the art world, and then aid them as they take their first tentative steps onto the blockchain. The team will guide them all the way through, utilizing both their exceptional knowhow, and significant funding.
