E11EVEN Partners, the company that owns the high-profile E11EVEN Miami nightclub, recently announced that it has bought Bored Ape #11.The purchase of the NFT cost the company $396,000, or 99 ETH.

According to Michael Simkins, owner of E11EVEN Partners, the purchase came after the company spent a period of time studying the BAYC collection, where he said in jest: “Believe it or not, our favourite Ape just happened to be #11”.

Simkins also stated that after making the decision to delve into the NFT collection, they contacted the owner of Bored Ape #11 via Discord: “At first they were hesitant to sell, but after some back and forth we were able to come to a mutual agreement“.

Now that the transaction has been completed, E11EVEN are excited to explore the marketing opportunities that will come with the ownership of their first NFT. The acquisition of such digital property, however, is not the company’s first involvement in the crypto space, as it has already processed over $4 million in cryptocurrency payments since it first began accepting crypto payments in April 2021. The company also announced in October that its real estate arm, E11EVEN Hotels and Residencies, has partnered with crypto exchange FTX to begin accepting cryptocurrency for luxury residential transactions.

E11EVEN Partners are one of many companies benefitting from the crypto-friendly climate that exists within Miami, Florida. The city has been transformed into a haven for crypto-related investors through the help of mayor Francis Suares, as well as local tax policies which allow the delay of property tax payments for a long period of time.
