Out-of-the-box augmented reality (AR) platform, Overly, has announced integration with the world’s biggest NFT platform, OpenSea. Now, NFT enthusiasts can hook their treasured collectibles up to the Overly app and have them interact with their real-world surroundings.

Overly has set itself the noble mission of taking the complexities out of the AR experience. Therefore, offering step by step implementation without the headache of a bespoke marketplace and platform. So, AR is now as simple as adding a hyperlink to the non-fungible token within the 3D editor, and hey presto there it is.

The team took their inspiration from their collaboration project with world-renowned street artist, KIWIE. Together, they built a system where scanned geotags would result in a partnered NFT data arriving from the Rarible marketplace in all its AR glory.

Following this, Overly developed their systems to automatically pull NFT data from the OpenSea platform. However, users can still display items hosted on alternative marketplaces by uploading a copy of the image.

What’s more, Overly offers a 5 day, no credit card required, trial of its system. So users can jump in and give it a go without spending a penny.
