One of the very unique features of the Rarible NFT marketplace is its ‘builder’ function that allows users to create custom digital storefronts to match their collections. Now, this popular feature is being rolled out to even more people as Rarible has announced that those who mint their assets on the Polygon blockchain can now get in on the action. Not only this but users can also list their assets they host on other marketplaces.

Details About the Development

This news was confirmed on January 18, 2023, and according to co-founder Alexander Salnikov, this move was a logical one. The marketplace has positioned itself as the go-to for web2 brands looking to make the leap into web3, and to achieve this, it will need to provide as much access as it can to its users.

As Polygon has established itself as a hot blockchain, even attracting the likes of the DeGods NFT collection, this move made perfect sense.

“We are bullish on Polygon. We’re bullish on creators that want to take ownership of their assets and ownership of the contract,” he said.

So, going forward, Rarible users can enjoy custom storefronts even as they buy their precious Polygon assets, which makes this a win for all.
