Snoop Dogg has proven once again that he’s having more fun than anyone else in the Web3 space. This time around, channelling his inner Larry David for an outlandish ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ parody.

In his latest venture, the legendary pot smoker teamed up with Web3 start-up, Astro Project. Together, creating a weird yet hypnotic unreal engine rendered music video for his hit song ‘Crip Ya Enthusiasm’. An oddly enjoyable homage to the iconic theme music from the enduring sitcom.

The duo released the video to coincide with the launch of Astro Project’s ‘Donut’ NFT collection. Essentially, representing a set of doughnut-shaped digital keys that grant access to a whole world of exclusive content, with holders unlocking 3D models and character animations from the video as well as a masterclass in scene building using the formidable Unreal Engine framework.

For the video, Astro Project and Snoop used motion capture to transpose the rap legend into Unreal Engine, and created a bespoke digital environment in which he interacts with a host of unlikely characters. All through a stylized persona representing the best character traits of both Monsieur Dogg and Larry David.
