Acclaimed rapper and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg has ventured further into the world of digital assets with his latest initiative, evolving NFTs called the Snoop Dogg Passport Series.

The innovative offering, launching in sync with his summer tour starting July 7 in Vancouver, presents a new dynamic in NFT utility. Each NFT acts much like a “tour poster that evolves with each place Snoop stops on tour,” according to the official website. Not merely a digital collectible, these NFTs unlock exclusive content, merchandise, art, and experiences from the music icon himself.

A New Era of Fan Engagement with Snoop Selects

But Snoop’s commitment to NFTs goes beyond his Passport Series. In conjunction with this collection, Snoop Dogg is revealing Snoop Selects, a thoughtfully curated collection of NFT artwork. These unique pieces of digital art will be airdropped to all passport holders. This move enriches the value of holding a Passport Series NFT.

“I’ve always been pushing things forward,” Snoop Dogg acknowledged in a press release. “With the passport series, I can give my fans the opportunity to travel the world with me – no one’s ever done that. I’ve always been a pioneer, and digital merch is part of the future.”

The series was developed with the Web3 platform Transient Labs and talent agency WME. Fans can procure a digital passport for approximately $42 or 0.025 ETH through Crossmint or various crypto wallets.

Snoop’s Web3 Journey

Over recent years, Snoop has shown considerable interest in NFTs and crypto investment space. In the burgeoning Web3 era, Snoop Dogg’s latest NFT initiative signals a fresh, engaging approach to fan interaction and the ever-expanding role of NFTs in entertainment and beyond. He also gave his thoughts on the future of NFTs last year.

Eight months after he released his 19th studio album, “Bacc on Death Row,” Snoop Dogg returned. He teamed up with Web3 Startup Astro Project and released an NFT-themed video. Based on the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” theme song, the video was titled “Crip Ya Enthusiasm.”
