They were staples of childhood for 90s kids but now, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are coming to the metaverse. This comes as Funko, which previously released NFT collections for intellectual properties such as My Little Pony and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, has announced an incoming collection with the Power Rangers.

Mighty Morphin NFTs

The collection, called The Power Rangers Digital Pop!, will be available from August 23, 2022, and will depict iconic characters from the fictional universe like Zordon and Scorpia. This NFT collection will be available for sale exclusively on Droppp.io from that date.

In this collection, there will be two types of cards; the standard and the premium. The standard card will cost $9.99 while the premium will cost $29.99, with each type having 22,500 in total. When a person buys one of the NFTs, they will receive one of six rare Digital Pops!

These Pops allow their owners to redeem a physical identical item at no added cost and thus, give the buyer both a digital and physical reward for their purchase. Given how many popular IPs have been turned into NFTs, it seems timely for the Power Rangers to make their entry into the metaverse with a nod to such beloved characters.
