‘The Wrong Man’ Set to Become First-Ever NFT Musical

Multi award-winning songwriter Ross Golan has collaborated with digital collectibles company Terra Virtua to turn his acclaimed musical, ‘The Wrong Man,’ into the first-ever NFT musical. The project highlights a new revenue stream for musicians where they will be able to sell to audiences directly, whilst also offering the novel opportunity for fans to own a piece of their favourite artist’s work.

The NFT collection for Golan’s conceptual album will be released on Terra Virtua in the first quarter of 2022. The limited-edition digital collectibles up for grabs will be an eclectic mix of music, graphics, and film, including the fully animated version of the musical, vinyl, poster-based artwork, and an unreleased track from Golan.

‘The Wrong Man’ began as a folk song about a man wrongly convicted of murder, however as years went on, Golan’s talents transformed the song into a storytelling concept album. The musical story was later made into an animated film and stage musical in 2019, where it saw sell-out Broadway performances.
