Legendary auction house Christie’s is launching an NFT collection to support the development of psychedelic science. Dubbed ‘Cartography of the Mind,’ and produced in partnership with Ryan Zurrer, founder of Web3 companies Dialectic and Vine Ventures, the collection’s assets will be individually auctioned off, and all proceeds donated to the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

The collection will be auctioned on Christie’s from June 21st to June 28th, and will feature over two dozen psychedelic-themed artworks. Each of the artworks have been produced by artists who are simultaneously advocates for alternative avenues of medicine, such as the ever-present Beeple, Refik Anadol, Mad Dog Jones, and more.

Throughout the bidding window, and whilst coinciding with NFT NYC, the collection will be installed in an exhibition at Christie’s new galleries on the corner of 6th Avenue and 49th Street in New York.

Once the auction ends, 100% of the revenue will be donated to MAPS’ research programs which focus on psychedelics and mental health. With such Web3-funded investments, the NGO will be able to bolster its efforts to legalise psychedelic substances as a means of treating a diverse range mental illnesses that are observed across the world.
