Financial powerhouse, Visa, has committed to helping small businesses unlock the potential of NFTs. To achieve this, it is launching the Creator Program in order to provide guidance and mentorship within the industry.

Through the one-year program, Visa intends to build a global collective of creative pioneers looking to accelerate their businesses through non-fungible tokens. As a result, the team will look to digitally focused artists, musicians, filmmakers and fashion designers to fill out its ranks. First, however, it will undergo a strict vetting procedure to ensure the applicants make the grade.

The Creator Program follows directly on from a similar, yet smaller initiative launched back in October. An innovative scheme that leveraged the talents of former basketballist and current NFT entrepreneur, Micah Johnson. This time around, Micah will return alongside a number of industry experts to take the program globally.

Visa estimates that the digital creator economy now makes over $100 billion annually. Therefore, concluding that NFTs will play a huge part in future growth, as well as representing the next major step in the e-commerce industry. As a result, Visa will look to simplify the purchasing process for digital output by making the buying of NFTs as simple as any other Visa transaction.

To apply for the accelerator program, head over to the Visa website and submit an application. The company will then select the top contenders and make their non-fungible dreams come true.
