After holding successful events in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Lagos, Nigeria, Web3 Delight is now set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The eagerly anticipated event will take place on March 6, with notable individuals within the Web3 space set to grace the occasion.

According to the press release, the event is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia and will be complemented by a blockchain hackathon. Web3 Delight is a hybrid event touching on the upcoming iteration of the internet and its business potential. The goal is to “engage, empower, and support an advanced economy that is proactive, customized, collaborative, and secure.”

Paul Lalovich, Partner at Agile Dynamics and founder of SyntheticEquity.io, is the event’s creator. His ultimate goal is to drive adoption of Web3 through this series of events. The Riyadh edition is expected to attract over 3,000 individuals, both physically and virtually, from over 40 nations.

The core discussion will be centered around the Web3 value chain. Various experts will discuss “what it takes to generate value at each stage of the Web3 value chain.” It’s a discussion that bonds well with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, as the nation aims to develop its digital infrastructure and capabilities. The next seven years will see increased efforts to invest in new technologies such as Non-Fungible Tokens, the Metaverse, 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT). The kingdom also plans to support the development of a thriving startup ecosystem.

What Will Be Covered At Web3 Delight?

That said, attendees can look forward to receiving insights on the direction the Web3 space is taking. Therefore, they can expect to get educated on how nations and companies can adopt blockchain technology and how marketing will look in the Web3 space. Additionally, there will be discussions on non-fungible tokens (NFTs), regulation within the space, fundraising, how to build in a bear market environment, and what kind of career opportunities can be found on the Metaverse.

The sponsors of the event include Impact Partners Management, Alpha Blue Ocean Group Digital, Jawraa, and SwiftMotion. Commenting about the event, Saad Sameer Abujubara, a partner at Impact Partners Management, notes, “The arrival of Web3 Delight in Riyadh is a welcome one, which we believe will foster growth and development within the community’s technology sector.”

Yasser N. Alobaidan, CEO at Jawraa, also shares a similar sentiment. He notes that “events such as this, which bring together global best practices and foster a collaborative, nurturing approach towards Web3 technology development, are essential to creating a supportive, sustainable environment for tech to progress in.”

As part of the Web3 Delight Riyadh edition, there will be a blockchain hackathon sponsored by BNB Chain that aims to attract developers to build Web3 products on the BNB Chain. Therefore, students, graduates, and professionals from across the nation are all welcome.
