While there are many profitable NFT projects, some are equally committed to benefiting their respective communities as well as being financially successful. Take World of Women (WoW), a web3 project that seeks to empower women and create more inclusivity in the industry. 

On February 6, 2023, WoW launched its inaugural Artfest initiative in partnership with Saatchi Art. This initiative is designed to not only spotlight artists but also offer benefits to its audience. 

How Artfest Promotes Inclusivity 

WoW is well-known for its community initiatives, and Artfest will become a seasonal event that will coincide with the movements of the moon. At each event, WoW and WoW Galaxy NFT holders will be able to claim a free NFT artwork incorporating on the skin tone of their assets. 

The current edition of Artfest will showcase the work of 15 talented artists, with a new piece to be revealed each day of the event. This year’s Artfest will be held on the Rainbow Orb planet and will feature artists such as Clément Morin, Yanin Ruibal, Damola Ayegbayo, among others.

So far, these Artfest events have certainly been a hit with users according to WoW management. 

“We’re bringing new artists into our community to interpret the WoW lore in so many unique ways, which helps to expand the reach of our story and mission. It’s a wonderful way to experience the beauty of shared creativity,” said Yam Karkai, Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder at World of Women.
